IN A LUSH GREEN HAVEN
The priory of Comba Romal is set in a lush green haven, and is one of the finest examples of Romanesque style, taken to the limits of purity and severity. It was founded in the 11th century by a small religious community that created the ascetic order of Grammont, the building itself fully reflects the spirit of renunciation which inspired its followers.
